These Terms & Conditions govern the services provided by Obsidian Turf Cleaning & Installation ("Obsidian Turf", "we", "us", "our"), a registered assumed name (DBA) of Hunnicutt Turf & Design LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company. By booking a cleaning, starting a maintenance plan, accepting a quote or purchasing from us, you ("you", "the customer") agree to these terms.

Our services

• Deep Clean: a one-time cleaning of residential artificial turf, including leaf, debris and pet hair removal, power brooming, an enzyme treatment for urine buildup and odor, a rinse and an infill check.
• Maintenance plans: recurring visits on the schedule of the plan you choose, as described on our website at the time you sign up.
• Add-ons: services such as infill top-off and seam or edge repair, quoted on site before any work is done.
• Installation: new artificial turf projects, quoted in writing. Installation work may be performed by vetted, insured crews working under our direction.

Pricing and turf size

Cleaning prices are those published on our website for your turf size, or quoted to you in writing. Please give us your best estimate of your turf area when you book. We confirm the size when we arrive; if it falls in a different size range, we will tell you the price before we start, and you may decline the service at no charge. Turf areas over 1,000 square feet are quoted after measuring. Prices do not include applicable sales tax, if any.

Booking and payment

• A booking is confirmed once we confirm your date and time in writing.
• Payment for a Deep Clean or add-on is due when the work is completed, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
• Maintenance plans are billed per visit or monthly, as shown for the plan you choose, and continue until you cancel.
• You can cancel a maintenance plan at any time by email or text, at least 48 hours before your next scheduled visit.
• Installation projects follow the payment schedule in your written quote.

Access, water and pets

You are responsible for giving us safe access to the turf area on the scheduled date, including gates and side yards, and access to an outdoor water spigot. Please keep pets inside during the service and pick up pet waste before we arrive. If we cannot access the area at the scheduled time, we will work with you to reschedule. Please give us at least 24 hours' notice if you need to change your appointment.

Weather

Heavy rain, storms or freezing conditions may require us to reschedule. We will contact you to arrange the earliest available alternative date.

Condition of your turf

Results depend on the age, condition and installation of your turf. Worn or damaged fibers, loose seams, drainage problems in the base, or stains from chemicals or other materials may limit what cleaning can achieve. We will tell you about any such issue we notice. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or wear. We follow the turf manufacturers' care guides and do not use bleach or high-pressure washing on your turf.

30-day odor guarantee

If the pet odor treated during a Deep Clean returns within 30 days, contact us within that period and we will return to re-treat the affected area at no charge. The guarantee covers re-treatment of the original turf area. It does not cover new problems caused after our visit, damage to the turf, drainage problems in the base, or turf that needs repair or replacement.

Your property

You confirm that you own the property or are authorized to have work performed on it, and that any HOA or community approvals required have been obtained. If we cause damage through our negligence, notify us within 48 hours with photos and we will address it.

Photography

We may photograph the turf before and after our work for our records and, with your permission, for our portfolio, website, advertising and social media. We do not publish your name, street address or house number. If you prefer we do not photograph your property, tell us before the service and we will honor that.

SMS program, text messages and opt-out

Obsidian Turf operates an SMS program for customers and prospective customers in the United States. If you provide your phone number and check the applicable consent box on our web form, we may contact you by phone and text message.

• What we send. Service and transactional messages confirming your booking or quote, appointment reminders, arrival times, service updates and follow-ups. If you separately consent to marketing messages, we may also send offers and seasonal reminders.
• How often. Message frequency varies. You will typically receive between 1 and 8 messages per month, depending on your bookings.
• Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• You can opt out at any time. Reply STOP to opt out of further messages. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at [email protected] for support.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• You must be at least 18 years of age to consent to receive text messages from us. Our SMS program is not directed to anyone under the age of 18.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Tennessee law, our total liability arising from any service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Davidson County, Tennessee.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect when you book applies to that booking.
