Obsidian Turf Cleaning & Installation ("Obsidian Turf", "we", "us", "our") is a registered assumed name (DBA) of Hunnicutt Turf & Design LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company. We clean, maintain and install artificial turf for homes in the Nashville, Tennessee area. This policy explains what we collect when you use obsidianturf.com or contact us, why we collect it, and what choices you have.
Information we collect
When you book a cleaning, request a quote or contact us, you give us:
- Your name, phone number and email address, so we can confirm your booking and keep you updated.
- The service address, so we know where to go and can confirm it is inside our service area.
- Details about your turf, such as its approximate size, pets that use it and any problems you notice.
- Photos of your turf, if you choose to send them, so we can give you an accurate quote.
- Payment information, which is processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
We also collect standard technical information automatically: your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, and how you arrived at our site.
How we use your information
- To schedule, perform and follow up on your cleaning, maintenance plan or installation
- To reply to you and answer your questions
- To send booking confirmations, reminders and service updates
- To process payments and keep accounting records
- To send occasional offers and seasonal reminders, if you agree to receive them
- To measure which advertising brings people to us, so we spend our budget sensibly
Text messages
If you opt in, we may text you about your booking, appointment reminders, arrival times and service updates, and, separately and only if you agree to it, about offers and seasonal reminders. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at [email protected]. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Opting out of texts does not affect your ability to work with us by phone or email. Consenting to marketing texts is never required to book or buy anything from us.
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in consent with any third party for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Information may be shared only with the service providers who help us deliver the messages you asked for, and those providers may not use it for any other purpose.
Photos of your turf
We may take before-and-after photos of the turf we clean or install, to document the work and, with your permission, for our website, ads and social media. We never publish your name, street address or house number. If you prefer we do not photograph your property, tell us before the service and we will honor that.
Cookies and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and to understand how it is used. We use Google Analytics to measure site traffic, and the Meta (Facebook) pixel, which tells us when someone who saw one of our ads visits the site or books. This lets us measure results and show ads to people likely to be interested. You can adjust your ad preferences in your Google and Facebook settings, or block cookies in your browser. Blocking them will not stop you from using the site or booking.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make our business run, such as the platform that hosts our website and customer records, our scheduling software, our email and text messaging providers, our payment processor, our advertising platforms and, for installation projects, the vetted installation crews who perform the work. They receive only what they need to perform those services for us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
How we protect your information
We take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect the information you give us. Your data is stored in our customer management platform, which encrypts data in transit and at rest. Access is limited to the people who need it to serve you, each with their own account. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to address any issue promptly if one arises.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it to serve you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we are required to keep some of it.
Your choices

- Ask us to correct or delete it, including any photos of your property
- Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email
- Reply STOP to any text message

Children
You must be at least 18 years of age to provide us your information or to consent to receive text messages from us. Our services are for adults, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated to you directly where we are able to.
